Kerala Governor R.V. Arlekar has reportedly expressed strong dissatisfaction over the abrupt transfer of six police officers stationed at the Raj Bhavan. According to sources, the Governor conveyed his displeasure directly to the newly appointed Director General of Police (DGP).
The controversy stems from a list of six officers recommended by the Governor, which was submitted to the former DGP. Based on this, an official order for their posting was issued on June 28. However, the order was unexpectedly revoked within 24 hours, and the officers were transferred from their Raj Bhavan postings within just 48 hours.
The Police Department has explained that the cancellation of the posting order was carried out under instructions from the state government.
