In a significant judicial development, the Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal, currently serving as an Additional Judge, to the position of Permanent Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. The recommendation marks a key step in strengthening the state’s judicial infrastructure and enhancing long-term judicial consistency within the High Court.
The proposal was made after a comprehensive evaluation of Justice Agrawal’s performance, conduct, and judicial acumen during his tenure as an Additional Judge. If accepted by the Government of India, the appointment will solidify Justice Agrawal’s role in contributing to the dispensation of justice in Chhattisgarh on a permanent basis.
