Alok Kumar Misra, who currently serves as Executive Director (Mechanical Engineering) Transformation at the Railway Board, has been entrusted with an additional responsibility. He has been appointed as the Executive Director (Efficiency & Research) [ED (E&R)] of the Railway Board for a temporary period of one month.
Mr. Misra is a distinguished officer from the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) and brings extensive experience to this expanded role.
