Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, commending his significant contributions to India’s growth in the fields of information technology, innovation, and infrastructure development.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi praised Vaishnaw’s commitment, stating:
“Birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji. He is making commendable efforts to boost India’s strides in the world of IT, innovation, and also the upgradation of vital infrastructure. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life.”

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju also shared his admiration:

Ashwini Vaishnaw currently holds the key portfolios of Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology. His leadership has been marked by transformative initiatives aimed at modernising infrastructure and fostering digital innovation.
Born in 1970, Vaishnaw is a Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he brings to governance a strong background in technology, finance, and public policy. His administrative experience spans across states like Odisha and Goa, where he has served with dedication.
