Neeraj Mittal, Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), until July 24. Mittal is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre.
