Ms. Nidhi Kesarwani, a 2004-batch IAS officer from the Manipur cadre and currently serving as Joint Secretary at the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), has been appointed as the Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) for Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh. Her appointment is part of the Government of India’s Aspirational District Programme, aimed at fast-tracking development in underperforming regions through focused governance and real-time progress monitoring.
