Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has firmly dismissed speculation about a possible mid-term leadership change, asserting that he will serve the full five-year term. Addressing the media, he said, “Yes, I will [continue as Chief Minister]. Why do you have doubts?”—a direct response to rumors circulated by the BJP and JD(S).
Siddaramaiah also took a jab at the opposition, rhetorically asking, “Are they the Congress high command?” His statement comes amid ongoing political chatter surrounding internal friction within the Congress party, particularly the power dynamics between him and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, along with rising dissatisfaction among a few party MLAs.
