Telangana Forms High-Level Committee to Develop Modern Cow Shelters

In Telangana, a four-member committee has been formed to oversee the development and management of modern goshalas (cow shelters) across the state. Headed by the Chief Secretary, this committee was constituted following a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The committee has been tasked with studying existing cow protection and shelter models in other states and submitting its recommendations by the next Cabinet meeting.

Joining the Chief Secretary on the panel are Special Chief Secretary to the Animal Husbandry Department Sabyasachi Ghosh, Principal Secretary to the Endowments Department Shailaja Ramaiyar, and Secretary to the Agriculture Department Raghunandan Rao.
