Ms. V. Hekali Zhimomi, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has received ex-post facto approval to take on the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Authority. Her appointment is effective from May 22 and will continue for a period of six months. Ms. Zhimomi is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
